For a recent project in the building industry, we supplied a compact high speed mixer in mild steel, with blade type tools, 1 off. central electro-pneumatic discharge, and 1 off. flange to enable the customer to retrofit a refiner in case of need.
The unit is installed in a mobile plant, used to pre-mix additives that will then be incorporated in the main product. The mobile plant can be moved alongside the main mixing lines. In this way the customer can quickly prepare the expensive additives in the desired quantity and with a top level of homogeneity in a very short time, and readily incorporatre them into the base materials processed in the main mixing line.
With a degree of particle distribution as high as 1:100,000 and a mixing time shorter than 3 minutes, the KBC range of mixers is the ideal solution for a wide variety of applications, where quality and performance are of paramount importance.
KB mixers can also be produced in stainless steel (304 and 316), in wear resistant steel (HB400, HB500), with multiple outlets (if required) and total bomb bay doors for intensive production sites.
They come in a complete range of sizes, from lab scale to XXL size (capable of processing up to 12,000 litres of product).
A wide range of accessories (such as refiners, liquid injection systems, temperature jackets, sampling devices, to name just a few) is avaialble to customize the units according to application/customer needs. Tailor-made modifications and features can be engineered and produced to fully respond to our customers’ requirements.
