The Challenge
For a well-known manufacturer of automotive friction components (brake pads), we engineered two compact ploughshare mixers. These machines quickly deliver a highly homogenous blend, which is then transferred to the moulding department.
The mixers were designed for heavy-duty use and engineered to achieve excellent material distribution throughout the mix, ensuring the compound passes the rigorous validation phases required before moving into mass production.
