1. What Are Cookies and Similar Tools

2. Tools Used Directly by MC²
The website does not use its own profiling or advertising cookies. It stores the choice made in the banner and activates Google Analytics only after consent to analytics cookies.

The systems hosting the website may also generate technical connection logs necessary for security, diagnosis, and operation. Server logs are not cookies stored in the browser; their processing is described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Third-Party Services and Resources
Some pages request resources from external providers. During the connection, the browser normally communicates technical data such as IP address, requested URL, browser information, and HTTP headers. The processing carried out by the provider is governed by its own privacy policy.

4. Consent and Preferences
The first-party Local Storage described above solely stores a user-requested choice and does not require prior consent. On the first visit, Google Analytics is blocked: no Analytics script is requested and no related cookie is set before a positive choice.
The banner provides equivalent accept and reject controls and allows the user to customise the choice. Consent is optional and may be changed or withdrawn at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. If consent is rejected or withdrawn, the website disables Analytics and attempts to remove any related first-party cookies already present.
5. How to Manage or Delete Data
Users can reopen the “Cookie preferences” panel from the footer at any time. They can also delete preferences and cookies by clearing website data in their browser settings or block cookies by following their browser's instructions.
The indiscriminate deactivation of technical tools may prevent the website from remembering certain preferences. The settings of third-party services must also be managed through the controls made available by their respective providers.
