The Challenge

For a prestigious international player in the drymix mortars sector, we were requested to supply a 3-tonne batch mixer for highly abrasive materials. The primary requirement was high plant throughput, combined with absolute mixer reliability and consistent performance in terms of final product quality and batch repeatability.

Material of construction: extra high-thickness HB450 wear-resistant steel
Maximum working capacity: 2,560 litres
Solid mild steel rotor shaft, with grease-purged seals
Mixing tools: adjustable, bolted ploughs and scrapers made of HB500 wear-resistant steel with face-hardening on tips
4 off. flanged round inlets, custom-built

1 off. 60° total bomb-door discharge, flush-fit, with hydraulic cylinders and power unit
2 off. inspection doors with interlocks
4 off. side refiners with HB400 tulip-type tools with total face-hardening
